What is the Location for Let’s Take A Stand Against Alzheimer’s Disease?

Let’s Take A Stand will take place in locations throughout the United States. Event organizers will include AFA member organizations, as well as other Alzheimer’s agencies, community groups, assisted living communities, hospitals, community groups, schools, churches and any other site that involves individuals who are committed to supporting the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Teens might also want to consider organizing an event at their school; visit www.afateens.org.

You can select a site near you by clicking the Register to Take A Stand button; choose a state and find a local event in which you would like to participate. If there is not an event near you, you can register and stand individually in your home or you could start your own event site for Let’s Take A Stand.

Let’s Take A Stand will be a stand-alone event in some communities, and it may be incorporated into other events, such as health fairs, summer festivals, in other areas.
