What Happens at Let’s Take A Stand Events?

Each organization that has agreed to participate will have a different vision and distinct flavor for its production of Let’s Take A Stand Against Alzheimer’s Disease.  

In general, the primary components of the event will be:

» Check in for participants who have raised funds
» Five minute silent stand
» Participants stating the names of community members who have or had Alzheimer’s disease
» Educational materials about Alzheimer’s disease and related illnesses
» Closing ceremony that will motivate participants to share the momentum built at the event with other members of their community
