How does this event benefit individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's Disease?

Let’s Take A Stand is a call to action as well as a fundraising event for communities throughout the United States.  The event is built around the concept of a community gathering of strength in cities and towns across our nation — families, residents, clients, and healthcare professionals standing side-by-side to advise our nation and politicians that we all have a stake in the battle against Alzheimer’s Disease. By standing together, participants will send a powerful message that we are willing to plan together, work together and stand together to fight Alzheimer’s Disease.

In addition, funds raised through this event will support programs and services throughout the United States that assist individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and related illnesses, and their families.
